When: Friday 9/16 at 4 PM

Celebrate Mexican Independence way in the best way possible, by listening to mariachi bands, checking out ballet folkórico. Featured bands include Mariachi Mexicanísimo, Mariachi Mi Tierra Linda, Mariachi Halcones de Oakland, and Mariachi Juvenil de Hayward. There will also be a taco-eating contest hosted by restaurant “El Taquito.”

This is a FREE family-friendly event.

The NuTropic squad is famous for their parties in “El Lay” and now, they have made their way to the Bay to bring the party to Oakland. An array of DJ’s will explore the music of the Americans, the Caribbean, the Pacific, Africa and back. This is a 21+ event, $5 pre-sale and $10 at the door.
