What’s better than tacos, and lucha libre? Nothing is you ask me, especially if the proceeds benefit our community. This event is a must, as it will help La Cocina, a loving place where low-income entrepreneurs launch and grow their cooking businesses. Get your tickets

Be BoldWhat: Be Bold Art & Music Event

Where: 26th St, Oakland, CA 94612

When: Saturday 8/13 at 5PM

Be Bold will feature artists from all different areas, music, graffiti, photographers, fashion designers, you name it. It is a night to meet and collaborate with other creative individuals. The best part about it, 25% of proceeds will benefit Youth Radio, a non-profit that provides job training in digital media, broadcasting and journalism to Bay Area youth. Tickets can be purchased through venmo.

San Francisco is changing drastically, and with the change comes the slowly but surely displacement of artists, and Latino families that have roots in La Mission. This event is the perfect opportunity to rediscover the greatness that is The Mission, and perhaps bring someone along who is not from the The Bay so they can discover the not so hidden gem that has always been La 24th & Mission.
